Tae Kwon-Do

Literally translated from Korean Tae means to jump, kick or destroy with the foot, Kwon means to punch or destroy with the hand and Do means art, way or method. Therefore at it's most basic level Tae Kwon-Do is the art of destruction with fist or foot. However the system is based on our five tenets:

  • Courtesy
  • Integrity
  • Perseverance
  • Self Control
  • Indomitable Spirit

The focus is on teaching discipline and respect as well as self defence.
